Episode 4: The Ticket

Episode #44; 4:4

Our Summary

Jerry throws out a watch his parents gave him instead of going to Jimmy Sherman, which is picked up by Uncle Leo which will screw Jerry over in the next episode(s). Newman tries to get out of the speeding ticket caused by Kramer's broken radar detector from last episode, but Kramer is a bad witness b/c he has side effects from Crazy Joe D kicking him in the head last episode. This was Elaine's last episode with Doc Reston in Europe/pregnant.

Our Commentary

Although this ep continues the season 4 overarching plot of Jerry, it's a little weak. It must be really weak because it had such greats as Newman, Uncle Leo, Susan, Jay, Stu, and Russell, yet it still felt weak. Adam - Not a lot of meat in this episode. Felt a little vegetarianish. We also start a mini overarch plot with Jerry's watch. Another mini overarching plot continues as well with Crazy Joe Divola. Good to see the now deceased Sgt. Eugene Tackleberry. Uncle Leo is as classic as ever with a huge "hello!" and a first time/only time hug. Good stuff with George saying "I can't believe she took the money" and Kramer saying "In my own words? Who's words would they be?" plus the whole crazy concept of not being a banker would lead to suicide.
