Episode 15: The Wizard

Episode #171; 9:15

Our Summary

Elaine thinks that her boyfriend might be black, and she tries a variety of ways of finding out if this is so. George lies to the Rosses in order to get out of a foundation obligation, by telling them that he has to go out to his house in the Hamptons. They see him on the street talking to FDR and then bump into Elaine who sets them straight as to George's fake house. George gets upset at them when they don't call his bluff, even though they knew that he was lying, so he tries to take it to the next degree by taking them to his fake house in the Hamptons. Jerry flies down to Florida to give a Wizard to his father, Morty, but must tell him that it's hot, b/c he wouldn't have allowed Jerry to buy him a tip calculator for $200. Finally, Kramer retires, moves down to Florida, and runs for Condo President, with Morty being the puppet master, wielding power from behind in a puppet regime, with Kramer, being, the puppet. Comma, comma, comma.

Our Commentary

We have back to back non-Top 50 eps here, with this one being the latter of the two. Funny stuff with Kramer moving down to Florida, Willard, the house in the Hamptons and Spanish restaurants b/c Darryl is black. Overall, a nice episode. Adam - Good episode. Not enough funny parts to bring it into the Top 50. But in saying that, it also did not feel like it was an hour and a half long like the last one did. So, you take the good and the bad. It was pretty solid.
