Episode 9: The Opera

Episode #49; 4:9

Our Summary

Crazy Joe and the opera are the focus of this episode. Elaine dumps Crazy Joe who threatens Jerry with the kibosh. Everyone, and I mean everyone, goes to the opera, except George, who sells his ticket to Harry Fong.

Our Commentary

A nice OCB opens this nice episode. We get an oft quoted line of "the sad, tragic clown, ... You." Take a listen:

We get a terrific performance from Crazy Joe Davola, with his kibosh message, his street toughs turned park toughs encounter with his roundhouse and sweeping kicks, his Elaine encounter, his Kramer encounter, and his ending scene encounter. Hilarious stuff with scalping, Harry Fong, and the multiple clowns. Overall, a quick little episode. Adam - It was pretty quick, wasn't it. Ehhhh, pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.
