Our Commentary
One of the most oft-quoted scenes of Seinfeld, or atleast most oft-quoted by the boys of Somer, is found within the depths of this episode. The scene in question is Jerry telling George about the dirty talking. "Gonna need some water here" can be heard thrice daily within the Somer household. We get our first look at the Rosses, who will join us again throughout the many seasons of Seinfeld. Beautiful stuff of Jerry and George trying to write the pilot and the Cubans with Kramer. We also get a multiple season arc that ends in this ep of Kramer's jacket, which started over a season ago, in 3:6 The Parking Garage. Finally, we have Elaine sticking it to Jerry with her panties. Overall, a nice episode. Adam - Sweet episode. Nice, sweet, innocent. Not very funny, but funny enough to get you going (as Adam just went to the bathroom to make a two minute crap after the ep was done). Apparently it did its job.
