Sally Weaver comes to town and due to Kramer's stupidity, hates Jerry and makes a comedy show about him being the devil, and it becomes a major hit. B/c of this and some other stuff that he says, he vows to be silent, until his silence is broken and he tells Sally some new stuff about Jerry, after he had cut off all contact with her b/c of her show. George is dating a femme-Jerry, and obviously feels very uncomfortable about it. Finally, Elaine proves that a cartoon isn't funny, and then rips off a Ziggy.
Our Commentary
This 3rd Siyum
Addition to the Top 50 is hilarious. There are so many great scenes in this beauty of an ep, that I'll probably forget some of them, but here goes. Hilarious stuff with Kramer and the whole talking/nontalking thing, broaching subjects, and ultra hilarious describing how he's told the neighbors, everyone at the coffee shop, and Frank and Estelle all about George dating a fem-Jerry, but using different complex words to describe it. To tell you the truth, I can't remember anything else right now, but the entire episode was hilarious. Adam - We got the head of the New Yorker, as the teacher from The Freshman, making up a word for the cartoon, you got good old Sally Weaver, Jerry's old college roommate, Newman seeing the show six times, some charlatan, and Elaine having to fix Peterman's flat tire as usual, and many many more. Good 3rd Siyum Addition to the Top 50.
