The character of Mr. Pitt was introduced in 6:1 The Chaperone and was brought to life by Ian Ambercombie (and Fitch, hah) who was loved by audiences the world round that he was brough back ep after ep in the 6th Season.
He is strict when it comes to buying him a pair of socks, and he loves the Thanksgiving Day Parade. His tremendous tennis opponent Ethyl Kennedy is so great that he requires a $300 Bruline racket to play her. He enjoys flailing his arms in the air when reciting the chant, Next Stop Pottersville, cannot crack the image in 3-D pictures, believes that an assistant of his must require some grace, but not too much grace, b/c then you won't be able to stand, and he has a doorman, who much like mrpitt, enjoys playing macho head games. To Mr. Pitt, opening his mail and telling him what is in it, far surpasses going to a movie in importance. He often causes Elaine to miss exciting excursions, and he always needs to know what is happening in Elaine's life.
How can one sum up a man of this magnitude? Well for starters, there are no parties allowed to go on, while Mr. Pitt is elsewhere.
