121."The Rye" (January 4, 1996)
SUMMARY Elaine is dating a jazz saxophonist who's spongeworthy, but he doesn't really like to do "everything" sexually. Susan's parents meet and have dinner with the Costanzas for the first time. George tries to replace a rye bread that his father took back from Susan's parents after their dinner. Kramer gives Susan's parents a ride in a friend's horse-drawn carriage--after feeding the horse Beef-A-Reeno, which causes the horse to be extremely flatulent. Jerry mugs an old lady for her loaf of marble rye. After finally doing "everything," the saxophonist can't play his instrument any more.
OF SPECIAL NOTE Three of this episode's guest stars--Frances Bay, Warren Frost, and Grace Zabriskie--were alumni of David Lynch's series Twin Peaks.
