The Drake first showed his ugly face in 4:22 The Handicap Spot. At first, he was a lovable character as Jerry, Elaine, and Kramer would say, "Love The Drake", but alas, who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of Drakes, Georgy boy knows.

"Ah, that Jerry's a funny guy. Huh? Got to love the Sein!"
- The Drake 4:24 The Pilot Part 2

The character The Drake was introduced in 4:22 The Handicap Spot, as a friend of the gang's who moved to Long Island. Although he is mentioned in three episodes and appears in two, The Drake is an extremely popular character. This may have something to do with the understated and subtle acting by Rick Overton, who portrayed this quintessential, yet meaningless character.

For his first engagement, the gang decided to get Scott a big screen TV as a wedding gift. How does he repay them? By calling off the wedding and leaving the TV to the Drakette. One hard day for JGEK, as they saw their car, actually FC's car, destroyed for not leaving enough room in the handicap spot for Mariah Carey. As the Drake lived on, so did his getting reengaged, as did his screwing people over, namely Jerry, with those engagements, i.e. the Superbowl.

But as we all know, no one forgets who this Mineola native truly is. A very bad man. And for that reason, everyone hates the Drake.
