Episode 11: The Little Jerry

Episode #145; 8:11

Our Summary

After bouncing a clowns with balloons check at the bodega, his parents think he's broke, causing problems as well as a name of an episode, specifically the next episode entitled 8:12 The Money. Kramer tries to buy a chicken so he won't eat sweat shop eggs after getting this advice from Elaine's guy from the future. However, stupid Kramer, as per usual, ends up getting a rooster, which he names Little Jerry Seinfeld, whom he enters into a cockfight in the back of Marcelino's store, and Marcelino tells Jerry that he'll take down the check if Little Jerry takes a dive, but Jerry refuses. Elaine's guy meanwhile, who shaves his head for his swim team, tries to grow it back, but finds out he's going bald, with the help of George Costanza, and asks Elaine to marry him before he goes bald. George meanwhile is dating a convict, has two of the greatest sexual moments in one's life, conjugal visit sex and fugitive sex, after she breaks out of her minimum security prison, of which the foundation has endowed a new library.

Our Commentary

This Top 50 ep contains some hilarious scenes, such as anything that Marcelino says and anything having to do with Little A-Yerry A-Seinfeld. Beautiful stuff with Kramer's lines of dialogue:

KRAMER: "Yah, yah! You see in Little Jerry Seinfeld the unlimited future you once had. Now, just because Jerry Seinfeld is a has-been, don't make Little Jerry Seinfeld a never-was!

JERRY: Kramer, give me that rooster!
KRAMER: Never! You hate him because he's doing more with your name than you ever will! Yah-yah!

Then we a super evil George moment that he tells the warden that Celia is scheming away in order that she remain in jail so he can keep dating a convict. Also hilarious is George telling Jerry that he found something better than conjugal visit sex: fugitive sex, and then Jerry replying that he can't take all of this, escaped convicts, fugitive sex, b/c he's got a cockfight to worry about. Finally, the hilarious scene at the end, with George yelling "Tamale!" just wraps up this beautiful episode. Adam - For me there are two reasons why this episode makes the Top 50: The end scene with all 4 of them screaming something out and the funniest part ever, of Marcelino saying that even he is not above his own policy. That just sums up the entire episode. Great job boys. Also I want to add that this line is even funnier b/c Mike Warshaw repeats it thrice daily. Oh yeah, also the line that Marcelino says that "Big Yerry is making a big mistake Yerry." simply defines the nuttiness that is Season Eight. Why the hell is he repeating Yerry at the end of the sentence? It doesn't make any sense except to make us laugh. This is Season Eight in a nutshell. Peace out my babies.
