Kenny Bania shows his hilarious face for the first time in this ep and he gives Jerry a suit in a trade, b/c of Kramer, for a dinner. This turns into a fiasco of course, with discussions on what a dinner consists of. George dates a waitress at Monk's, who dumps George b/c of his manure bit. Kramer dates a waitress at Reggie's, who's pissed off at Kramer b/c he doesn't have any food in his fridge, b/c he's only eating fresh food, b/c of his kidney stone. Elaine is dating an English bounder, who is a bastard, and ends up getting roughed up by Kenny, trying to get his suit back.
Our Commentary
Nice OCB starts off this beautiful episode. Perhaps one of the funniest peripheral characters shows his nice smile in this ep, namely the smile that belongs to the face that belongs to the man, known simply as a Mr. Kenneth Bania, or KB. From his "How about Mendy's? OOOOOOH!" to his "Yeah, I'm huge!", the man cannot not be funny. Beautiful stuff with the bounder bastard Englishman and Kramer screwing Jerry over with the suit for soup/meal swap transaction. Hilarious stuff with Jerry and George outside Monk's when Jerry sends him as a soldier in combat, back inside, with Jerry cracking up as he does so. Beautiful stuff with Ma-Newer and its link with a certain Osca Winna, who eats said manure up with a fork, or a spoon, but that would depend on the tribe. Also nice double acting by "Jerry, I don't know sometimes." Overall, an hilarious episode that should make Fred Stoller proud. Adam - Great episode. Kenneth Bania is at his peak and it's only his first episode. Everything was done very well. Well done to all.
